Q: Who is eligible to participate in the Senior Games?

A: Any Delaware County resident 50 years of age or older.



Q: What's the purpose of the Senior Games?

A: The mission of the Senior Games is to engage adults over 50 in two weeks of fun events that promote a healthy, social and active lifestyle.



Q: Who puts on the Delaware County Senior Games?

A:  Delaware County Council proudly sponsors the Senior Games in partnership with: Delaware County Parks and Recreation Department, the County Office of Services for the Aging (COSA), and the Brandywine Conference & Visitor's Bureau.

The 2017 Senior Games committee members are: Denise Stewart, Director of COSA; Marc Manfre, Director of Delaware County Parks and Recreation; Tore Fiore, Executive Director of Destination Delco Visitor's Bureau; Steve Byrne, John McMullan, Beth Chapman; Elaine Lawley; Barb Nicolardi; Anne Cicala, Helen McGoohan, Adrienne Marofsky, Amy Nardi, Mike Raith, Meghan Sgro, Robert Ballantine, Kim Crouse, John Durning, Kathy Henderson, John Iannotti, Sam & Pat Parsons, Bruce Wyman, Erik Nelson, Christopher Westfal.




Q: How do I register to participate in the games?


A: Click on the Registration Page to download the registration form. Mail your signed registration form and participation fee (make check payable to County of Delaware) to:

Q: Where are the games held?

A: The Delaware County Senior Games will be held at various venues throughout the county, and will feature competition in bowling, golf, table tennis, track and field, shuffleboard, Pickleball and more.



Q: How long have the games been going on?

A: The Senior Games celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2015.



Q: May I choose my teammates?

A: Yes, if you will be participating in a group sport (golf foursome, doubles bowling, etc.) Please list the names of your teammates on your registration form.



Q: Will I get confirmation of my registration?

A: No confirmation will be sent, so athletes should stop by the sign-in table upon arrival at each event.
